Moth Traps - Advice for Use

  • Moths like dark quiet areas in which to breed - place the traps these areas

  • Position traps away from drafts and open doors as this will impair the performance of the traps and tend not to be areas where breeding moths are found

  • Traps are most effective in wardrobes, against skirting boards, under beds and furniture

  • Leave for at least 3 weeks before moving to another location - allow some time for the pheromone to work

  • Only breeding male clothes and carpet moths are attracted to the Traps, not females

  • No moths on the traps mean no breeding males - if this occurs move the traps to an alternative location.
